Baltic Spin conference in Jurmala, 2016
We would like to draw your attention to the upcoming International Seminar “Baltic Spin 2016 – Magnetization Dynamics of Micro- and Nano-structures” and invite you to submit an abstract on your recent research results in the field of magnetization dynamics.
The seminar will take place on August 09 – 13, 2016, at the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Jurmala, near Riga, the capital of Latvia.
The goal of the seminar is to provide a forum for discussions of the most interesting novel research trends in nano-magnetism and magnetization dynamics in a relaxed and informal atmosphere of an old Baltic resort.
The number of participants will be limited to 50, and will be a mix of leading specialists in magnetization dynamics presenting lectures, and students and young scientists presenting posters.
The Seminar will be supported by a Swedish STINT research grant, which will allow us to have a low registration fee of EUR 300 for established scientists and EUR 150 for students. The registration covers both room and board at the beautiful Kurshi Hotel.
A limited number of travel grants of EUR 300 (and a waiver of the registration fee) will be available for students and retired (or semi-retired) scientists. All papers presented at the Seminar will be offered the chance of publication in the “IEEE Magnetics Letters” after a standard refereeing process.
